5A State Championship @ U of U
SALT LAKE CITY-Dutch DowDell led the way with 34 points and 5 rebounds and the No. 2 Olympus Titans upset No. 1 Alta 69-61 to win the 5A state boys basketball championship Friday at The Huntsman Center. Ace Reiser’s 18 points led the Hawks in the loss. The Titans have now won four state boys basketball championships in their history. Olympus has state titles in 2016, 2018, 2022 and 2024.

5A State Championship @ U of U
SALT LAKE CITY-Taylor Harvey’s 24 points and 8 rebounds led the way and the No. 1 Bountiful RedHawks dismantled No. 2 Wasatch 62-35 to win the 5A state girls basketball championship at The Huntsman Center Friday. Peyton Behnke led the Wasps in defeat with 16 points. This was Bountiful’s fourth all-time state title in girls basktball. The RedHawks have girls basketball state championships in 2001, 2016, 2023 and 2024.
