SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Mason Hansen posted 22 points and the Springville Red Devils bested Wasatch 74-62 in Region 7 boys basketball play Friday. Sam Lind’s game-high 35 points led the Wasps in the loss. SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Ashley Garner led the way with 22 points and the Wasatch Wasps pounded Springville 64-43 Friday in Region 7 girls basketball play. Bella Esplin’s 12 points led the Red Devils in the loss. The Wasps improved to 15-3 and 6-1 in Region 7 play. Wasatch returns to action Tuesday at 5:15 pm against Timpview at The Nest as the Region 7 season continues for both squads.
