Trans Bathroom Bill Passes Senate Business And Labor Committee

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A Utah bill that would restrict transgender people from accessing public restrooms has passed the Senate Business and Labor Committee. That means the bill is now another step closer to becoming a law. House Bill 257 will now go to the full Senate for a vote. If the bill becomes law, it would prevent trans people living in Utah from using public bathrooms that differ from the sex they were assigned at birth.
