Utah Youth Social Media Rules Continue To Change

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Drama continues to build around Utah’s new Social Media Youth laws. A second lawsuit was filed on Tuesday claiming the Utah Social Media Regulation Act is unconstitutional, claiming the age verification requirement is in violation of the law. Congress was trying to push back the enactment date from March first to October first to help keep the first lawsuit filed in December from reaching a preliminary injunction. Republican Kirk Cullimore says the originally passed bill will be repealed and replaced before October first.
