HEBER CITY, Utah-Monday afternoon, Wasatch football confirmed Jody Morgan as the program’s new head coach.
Morgan comes to the Wasatch Back from Riverton High School where he coached the Silverwolves to a 33-25 (.569) record from 2018-22.
Morgan also has previous experience at Utah Tech as a student-athlete and a coach for the Trailblazers, who were known as Dixie State during his time. Morgan has also coached at Herriman High School.
Morgan has also served as the president of the Utah High School Football Coaches Association.
Incidentally, Morgan’s predecessor as the football coach at Wasatch High School, Steve Coburn, previously served on this board as well before retiring at the conclusion of the Wasps’ football season this autumn.
