HEBER CITY, Utah-Ashley Garner led the way with 21 points and the Wasatch Wasps bested Class 6A Pleasant Grove 49-42 Tuesday in non-region play at the Nest. Cash Connors led the Vikings in the loss with 12 points. Wasatch improved to 2-0 on the season in victory and next faces Class 3A Emery Thursday at 6:00 pm at the Shannon Johnson Tournament at Uintah High School of Vernal. The Wasps will also face Manti on Friday and Union on Saturday at this tournament.
