Glen Canyon Recreation Area To Begin Winter Season On Wednesday

(Undated) — The Glen Canyon National Recreation Area will begin its winter season on Wednesday. Some facilities in the recreation area will be closed to prevent freezing and other problems during cold weather. Most of the closures are for public restrooms and pump-out facilities at campgrounds and boating ramps. Hours of operation in some areas may also be reduced. The affected areas are expected to reopen in mid-April.
