Road Closure Coming to US-89

US-89 is set to close for a couple of days next week. In post to their Facebook page, Utah Department of Transportation region 3 announced that “Union Pacific Railroad is gearing up for a track upgrade that will close US-89 near Thistle.” The closure will take place Saturday through Sunday Nov. 18-19. Anyone planning on traveling this road those two days is being asked to seek an alternate route.
