PROVO, Utah-Per Wednesday news, BYU men’s basketball signed Texas high school star guard Brooks Bahr to a national letter of intent.
Bahr, a 6’4″ guard out of Keller, Texas, is a 247sports.com 3-star recruit is the 132nd ranked player in the Class of 2024 recruiting class.
BYU head coach Mark Pope considers Bahr a combination of basketball standouts, current Boston Celtics point guard Payton Pritchard and former NBA star point guard Chauncey Billups, saying he is “explosive, physical and skilled.”
Bahr averaged 21.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game last season, as a junior, for the Indians.
