HOLLADAY, Utah-Chase Moseley threw four touchdown passes and the No. 5 Olympus Titans clobbered No. 12 West Jordan 35-6 in the second round of the 5A state playoffs Friday. Dominic Overby caught a 63-yard touchdown pass from Riley Warner in defeat for the Jaguars. The Titans next visit No. 4 Box Elder Friday at 6:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah-Ryan Griffin tossed three touchdown passes and the No. 4 Box Elder Bees got past No. 13 Maple Mountain 28-21 Friday in the second round of the 5A state playoffs. Banks Jackson tossed a touchdown pass and ran for another score in the loss for the Golden Eagles.

SALT LAKE CITY-Kepa Niumeitolu ran for a touchdown and tossed for another score as the No. 11 Alta Hawks upset No. 6 West 36-34 in quadruple overtime in the second round of the 5A state playoffs Friday. Isaiah SueSue threw three touchdown passes in the loss for the Panthers. Alta next visits No. 3 Roy in the state quarterfinals Friday at 6:00 pm.

ROY, Utah-DaeQwan Snider caught a touchdown pass and ran for another score and the No. 3 Roy Royals pounded No. 14 Bonneville 40-0 Friday in the second round of the 5A state playoffs.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Teviti Valeti ran for a pair of scores and the No. 2 Springville Red Devils smacked No. 18 East 24-0 Friday in the second round of the 5A state playoffs. Springville next hosts No. 10 Bountiful Friday at 6:00 pm in the state quarterfinals.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah-Siaki Fekitoa ran for three scores and the No. 10 Bountiful Redhawks clobbered No. 7 Granger 42-0 in the second round of the 5A state playoffs Friday.

PROVO, Utah-Helaman Casuga tossed four touchdown passes and the No. 1 Timpview Thunderbirds edged No. 17 Orem 35-28 Friday in the second round of the 5A state playoffs. Lance Reynolds tossed two touchdown passes and Mack Hixson added two more touchdown runs in defeat for the Tigers. The Thunderbirds next host No. 8 Brighton Friday at 6:00 pm in the 5A state quarterfinals.

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah-Jack Johnson threw three scoring passes and the No. 8 Brighton Bengals decimated No. 9 Woods Cross 44-7 in the second round of the 5A state playoffs Friday. Lock Smoot had a 51-yard touchdown run in the loss for the Wildcats.
