This award is annually presented to the college football offensive or defensive lineman who exemplifies the character and discipline of former NFL head coach, Pro Football Hall of Famer Vince Lombardi.

Elliss ranks second nationally with 8 sacks.

Elliss and his Utah teammates return to action Saturday evening by visiting USC at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

Both squads are ranked in the Top 20 this week with Utah at No. 14 and the Trojans checking at No. 18 this week.
