ST. GEORGE, Utah-Monday, Utah Tech senior linebacker Dondi Fuller was named as the United Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Fuller, a native of Belleville, Ill. and a New Mexico Highlands transfer, posted a career-high 13 tackles, including 11 solo stops and a tackle for a loss, in the Trailblazers’ 37-31 win over Stephen F. Austin Saturday.

Fuller and his Trailblazers teammates, following their bye week, return to action October 21 at North Alabama.
