LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State sophomore safety Ike Larsen was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week.

In the Aggies’ 44-24 win over Colorado State Sunday, Larsen recorded two interceptions, seven tackles and a pass breakup against the Rams.

Larsen, a former Sky View High School star, and his Aggies teammates next host Fresno State Friday evening.
