(Salt Lake City, UT) — Daycare centers across Utah face closure as a federal childcare grant is about to expire. The Federal Childcare Stabilization grant has helped daycares across the state stay open, and it expires tomorrow. As it stands now, a total of 663 childcare centers in Utah are at risk of closing after the end of this month. In response, a bill that aims to enhance three existing childcare tax credits has been introduced in the House.
