HEBER CITY, Utah-Mack Kelson ran for a 5-yard touchdown in the closing seconds and the Wasatch Wasps edged Maple Mountain 35-34 in the Homecoming game Friday at Wright-Tree Stadium.

Kelson added two touchdown passes to Jojo Hyer in victory for the Wasps, who secured their first Region 7 win of the season in vanquishing the Golden Eagles.

Carter Bucad also stepped up with a touchdown run in victory for Wasatch.

Banks Jackson threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score in the loss for Maple Mountain.
