(Heber City, UT) — A groundwater study at the proposed site of the LDS Church’s Heber Valley Temple has raised concerns. Located along East Center Street in Heber City, a recent survey of the currently empty lot found that it’s saturated with millions of gallons of groundwater. Experts say this water will have to be pumped out before construction can begin. On top of the water-related issues, neighbors living near the property have voiced concerns about potential light pollution and traffic since the project was announced earlier this month.
