Tacoma Snaps Bees’ 4-Game Winning Streak Thursday

SALT LAKE CITY-Pedro Severino and Cooper Hummel homered as the Tacoma Rainiers bested Salt Lake 8-4 Thursday at Smith’s Ballpark. This snapped the Bees’ 4-game winning streak.

Adam Oller posted eight strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Tacoma. Oller improved to 9-6 on the season with the win.

Jordyn Adams homered in the loss for the Bees.

Tacoma improved to 72-63 on the season while Salt Lake fell to 61-73.

The Bees and Rainiers continue the series Friday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho-Jonathan Soto drove in three runs and the Ogden Raptors downed Idaho Falls 9-5 Thursday at Melaleuca Field. Tyler Wyatt drove in two runs in the loss for the Chukars. The Raptors and Chukars return to action Friday at 7:05 pm at Melaleuca Field.
