Utah’s Peak Fall Colors Expected Next Month

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Good news for those ready to be done with summer — the Farmer’s Almanac says Utah is a month away from peak autumn colors. The almanac says October 5th though October 21st is the best time to view fall foliage in the state. Years with more rain can reportedly result in leaves changing colors earlier in the year, and an active monsoon season and hurricane remnants impacting Utah this year may result in exactly that. Experts say the first signs of the color change could start to show as early as this week.
