SALT LAKE CITY-Livan Soto homered twice and Trey Cabbage also went yard as the Salt Lake Bees bested the Oklahoma City Dodgers 6-2 Wednesday at Smith’s Ballpark. Jhonathan Diaz recorded seven strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Diaz is 8-1 on the season for Salt Lake. Michael Bush and David Freitas each drove in a run in the loss for the Dodgers. Salt Lake improved to 54-61 on the season while the Dodgers fell to 73-41. The Bees and Dodgers return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

WINDSOR, Colo.-Payton Robertson homered and the Northern Colorado Owlz edged Northern Colorado 7-6 at Future Legends Complex Wednesday in two knockout rounds.
