Utah Politician’s Family Escapes With Minor Injuries After Bull Attack

(Spanish Fork, UT) — A Utah politician’s family barely escapes a bull attack at the Spanish Fork County Fair. Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson says her mother and brother were chased, knocked down and stepped on after a bull escaped the rodeo arena. Henderson’s brother Jeremy Hulse says they were in the participant parking area, when the bull suddenly appeared and started bucking towards them. Hulse says he and his mother sustained minor injuries after they were hit by the bull’s backside. County Fair co-director Craig Conover says the bull was loose for roughly three minutes before rodeo riders got the animal under control.
