SALT LAKE CITY-Jack Lopez homered and the Salt Lake Bees snapped a 6-game losing streak with a 5-4 win over El Paso Wednesday at Smith’s Ballpark. Reyes Moronta posted three strikeouts in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Moronta is 4-1 on the season. Oscar Mercado homered in the loss for El Paso. The Bees improved to 48-55 on the season while El Paso slipped to 46-58. The Bees and Chihuahuas return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Dusty Stroup, Jacob Barfield, Ethan Lopez and David Martinez each drove in a run and the Rocky Mountain Vibes doubled up Ogden 4-2 in 6 innings Wednesday at UCHealth Park.

Drew Irvine posted two strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Vibes. Juan Teixeira and Dane Tofteland each homered in the loss for the Raptors.

The Raptors and Vibes return to action Thursday at 6:35 pm at UCHealth Park.
