TACOMA, Wash.-Sam Haggerty, Mark Mathias and Brian O’Keefe homered and the Tacoma Rainiers edged Salt Lake 4-3 Sunday to conclude the series at Cheney Stadium.
Riley O’Brien posted two strikeouts in one inning of work to improve to 2-4 on the season for the Rainiers.
David Fletcher and Daniel Murphy each drove in a run in the loss for the Bees.
Tacoma improved to 52-50 on the season while Salt Lake fell to 47-54.
The Bees return to action Tuesday to host the El Paso Chihuahuas for a 6-game series at Smith’s Ballpark. Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm.

OGDEN, Utah-Rafael Narea homered and the Ogden Raptors edged Boise 5-4 Sunday at Lindquist Field. Quinn Waterhouse recorded three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Raptors. Waterhouse is 2-2 on the season for Ogden. Raymond Gil homered in the loss for the Hawks. Ogden improved to 35-24 on the season while Boise fell to 32-27. The Raptors return to action Tuesday at 6:35 pm to visit the Rocky Mountain Vibes.
