CHICAGO-Wednesday, BYU football redshirt sophomore offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia was named as a preseason All-American by the College Football News.

The former Orem High School star, who was previously at Oregon, was named to the publication’s All-American Second Team.

Suamataia and his BYU teammates begin the season September 2 against FBS newcomer Sam Houston at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
