OGDEN, Utah-The Ogden Raptors split a 2-game doubleheader with the Rocky Mountain Vibes Wednesday at Lindquist Field.
The Vibes won a resumption of a June 22 game with an 8-1 win over the Raptors.
Brett Carson and Jake McMurray each drove in two runs in the win for Rocky Mountain. Peyton Long posted four strikeouts in nine innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Vibes.
Logan Williams drove in a run for Ogden in defeat.
In the second game, the Raptors prevailed 11-9. Cameron Phelts, Reese Alexiades and Dante Tofteland all homered in the win for Ogden.
Brock Gilliam posted three strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Gilliam improved to 8-1 on the season with the win.
Brett Carson, Dusty Stroup, Casey Petersen, Ethan Lopez and Joe Encarnacion homered in the loss for the Vibes.
The Vibes and Raptors return to action Thursday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
