SALT LAKE CITY-Heliot Ramos homered twice and added an RBI double and the Sacramento River Cats blasted Salt Lake 8-1 Friday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Kai-Wei Teng posted three strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Sacramento. Teng is 2-1 on the season for the River Cats.

Jared Oliva drove in a run in defeat for the Bees.

The River Cats improved to 40-44 on the season while the Bees fell to 41-43. The River Cats can secure a series win Saturday as they meet the Bees again at Smith’s Ballpark.

Opening pitch is slated for 6:35 pm.

MISSOULA, Mont.-Reese Alexiades homered and the Ogden Raptors downed Missoula 5-2 Friday at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field.

Jake Mulholland’s seven strikeouts in six innings of work earned him the win on the mound for the Raptors.

Keaton Greenwalt homered in defeat for the PaddleHeads.

Ogden improved to 26-14 on the season while Missoula fell to 29-12.

The Raptors and PaddleHeads conclude the series Saturday at 7:05 pm at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field.
