(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah is, once again, the youngest state in the nation. Figures just released by the U.S. Census Bureau show that the median age in the Beehive State is 31-point-nine years. That’s a half-year older than the state median in 2020 but it’s nearly three years younger than any other state. It’s also well below the national median age of 38-point-nine years. The nation is aging as only Maine showed a decline in its median age, but Maine’s median is the oldest in the country at 44-point-eight years.
