SALT LAKE CITY-Trey Cabbage, Jack Lopez, Zach Humphreys, Brett Phillips and Livan Soto each drove in a run and the Salt Lake Bees downed Sacramento 5-3 Wednesday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Chase Silseth posted eight strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bees. Silseth is 4-1 on the season for Salt Lake.

Joey Bart recorded an RBI double in the loss for the River Cats.

Salt Lake improved to 41-41 on the season in victory while Sacramento fell to 38-44.

The Bees and River Cats meet again Thursday at 6:35 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

Pioneer League

KALISPELL, Mont.-Logan Williams, Sal Gozzo and Rafael Narea each drove in a run and the Ogden Raptors bested Glacier 3-1 Wednesday at Glacier Range Field. Mitchell Stone posted 10 strikeouts in six innings of work for the Raptors. Matt Clayton homered in the loss for the Range Riders.

Ogden improved to 24-13 in victory while Glacier fell to 22-15.

The Raptors return to action Thursday at Missoula for a 7:05 pm opening pitch against the PaddleHeads.
