Heber Valley Police Department Shift Report: 7/1

HEBER CITY, Utah-Sunday, the Heber City Police Department released its shift report for July 1.

Case #2307-0004/Tobacco problem: Following a traffic stop at 300 South and 200 West, Heber City, the underage driver was cited for possession of tobacco by a minor.

Case #2307-0010/Welfare Check: Welfare check requested on a resident of the Rocky Mountain Care Center, 544 E. 1200 South, Heber City, that was in the bathroom for a “really long time.”

Case #2307-0015/Disorderly: Officers responded to Smith’s, 550 N. Main, Heber City, on the report of a male “freaking out” at the pharmacy.

Case #2307-0024/Fraud: Officers responded to Mac’s Motel, 670 S. Main, Heber City, for a report of a male that had not paid and refused to leave his hotel room.

Case #2307-0029/Citizen Assist: Officer assisted a juvenile male who had smashed his fingers in a vehicle door.

Case #2307-0046/Noise Complaint: Noise complaint on Cottage Side Lane, Heber City

Case #2307-0052/Domestic: A father was hitting the family dog to discipline it. The mother attempted to stop him and he hit her. The suspect was arrested for Domestic Violence assault, Domestic Violence animal cruelty and three counts of domestic threats of violence.

Case #2307-0058/Threat: Officers responded to a report of an adult threatening children at the community playground.

Case #2307-0069/Disorderly: A male was arrested at Melvin’s Public House, 139 N. Main, Heber City, for assaulting two employees and intoxication.
