First-Time Utah Homebuyers Can Get Up To $20,000 Toward Purchase

(Salt Lake City, UT) — First-time Utah homebuyers can get up to 20-thousand dollars toward the purchase of a home under a new program that opens this weekend. Homebuyers can apply for the program starting this Saturday, July 1st. The program the Legislature created will fund 25-hundred people buying their first home. To qualify, first-time buyers must secure a loan through an approved lender and buy a newly-built house that doesn’t cost more than 450-thousand dollars. Applications are available on the Utah Housing Corporation website.
