TACOMA, Wash.-Brian O’Keefe and Jake Scheiner homered and the Tacoma Rainiers downed Salt Lake 11-6 Wednesday at Cheney Stadium.

Stephen Kolek posted three strikeouts in 2.1 innings of work for the Rainiers to earn the win on the mound. Kolek is 3-2 on the season for Tacoma.

Daniel Murphy and Jake Lamb homered in defeat for the Bees.

Tacoma improved to 38-38 on the season in victory. Salt Lake fell to 37-38 with the loss.

The Bees and Rainiers return to action Thursday at 8:05 pm at Cheney Stadium.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Logan Williams, Damian Henderson, Rafael Narea and Sal Gozzo each homered and the Ogden Raptors pounded Idaho Falls 18-4 Wednesday at Lindquist Field. Edward Baram posted seven strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Ogden. Robert Paller and Trevor Halsema homered in the loss for the Chukars. Idaho Falls built a 4-0 lead after one inning after which the Raptors scored the last 18 runs of the game.

The Raptors improved to 20-10 on the season as Ogden has won their last four games. The Chukars fell to 11-20.

Ogden and Idaho Falls meet again Thursday at 6:30 pm at Lindquist Field.
