(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah is among the states with the highest gas prices. Triple-A’s latest report from last week shows the Beehive State’s average price for a gallon of regular at four dollars and nine cents, making it the seventh highest in the nation. But, the average price has since dropped a few cents as of last night. Folks living in the counties of Utah and Box Elder are paying less than most around the state with average prices below four dollars. Washington and Iron counties are right around the state average, while prices in Wayne and Piute are much higher.
