SALT LAKE CITY-Davis Wendzel and Blaine Crim homered and the Round Rock Express outlasted Salt Lake 11-9 Wednesday at Smith’s Ballpark.

Edwar Colina recorded a strikeout in 1.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Express. Colina is 1-0 on the season.

Michael Stefanic and Trey Cabbage homered in the loss for the Bees.

Round Rock improves to 33-26 on the season with the win while the Bees fell to 28-31.

The Bees and Express return to action Thursday at 6:05 pm at Smith’s Ballpark.

Pioneer League

OGDEN, Utah-Trevor Halsema homered and the Idaho Falls Chukars outlasted Ogden 6-5 Wednesday at Lindquist Field. Robbie Brown posted one strikeout in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Idaho Falls. Bryant Bagshaw earned the save for the Chukars in relief of Brown. Reese Alexiades homered in the loss for the Raptors. Ogden fell to 8-6 in the loss while Idaho Falls improved to 6-8. The Raptors and Chukars return to action Thursday at 6:30 pm.
