Young Latter-day Saints In Argentina Assist Their Neighbors

BUENOS AIRES-In news released by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Tuesday, young members of the faith joined 14 nonprofit organizations in the assembly and distribution of 23,000 school supply kits for children in need in Argentina.

The donated kits were assembled by 7,000 volunteers at camps sponsored by the Salt Lake City-based faith throughout Argentina.

The backpacks were filled with pencils, pens, paper, scissors and other school supplies.

The Church expressed gratitude to organizations they were assisted by in this process.

These organizations include
