WASATCH COUNTY, Utah-Saturday, Wasatch County Search & Rescue assisted in the rescue of two snowmobilers in separate crashes in Wasatch County.
Rescue crews reported they first responded to Strawberry River just before 9:50 am Saturday morning when a 16-year-old reportedly crashed into a tree.
Officials reported his injuries required assistance from LifeFlight for the extraction. This operation took roughly two hours.
The second incident occurred at 10:40 am Saturday morning at Soapstone Basin in Wasatch County. Officials stated this was a 42-year-old woman.
Her injuries also required extraction, via helicopter.
University of Utah AirMed and the Park City Fire District also responded. This operation took approximately two hours.
