(Woods Cross, UT) – A Utah lawmaker wants to make it legal for people to sue pornographers. State Senator Todd Weiler [[ wy-lur ]] is preparing legislation aimed at giving people in the state authority to legally argue that watching porn causes emotional and psychological harm. Weiler wants pornographers to be held liable for how their products affect adults, not just children and teenagers. The Republican lawmaker drew national attention last year when he led the Utah legislature to pass a first-in-the-nation resolution declaring a public health crisis caused by pornography.Â
