Man Tries To Escape Courthouse During Hearing 

(St. George, UT)  –  A man is being held without bail after trying to escape a St. George courthouse earlier this week.  It happened Wednesday during a review hearing at the 5th District Courthouse.  “St. George News” reports that 28-year-old Michael Ray Smith Jr. was in court for other charges when he tried to escape from the building after the judge ordered he be taken to jail.  Smith was eventually arrested after he ran into a wall while a deputy tried using his TASER to stop him. Â
