VidAngel Fined $10K For Contempt Of Court

(Los Angeles, CA) — A Utah-based video filtering service is facing a fine for failing to obey an order by a federal judge. VidAngel was fined just over ten-thousand-dollars Friday after a judge found the company guilty of contempt of court. The judge ruled that company officials continued to add movies to its streaming service after he issued an injunction ordering them to stop. VidAngel is appealing the injunction.
