EPHRAIM, Utah (January 16, 2017) – Snow College freshman Harley Hansen has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week after helping lead the Lady Badgers to a 2-0 record on the week. Hansen averaged 19.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 4.0 steals on the week.
In the Badgers’ 84-53 win over Colorado Northwestern, the Plain City, Utah, native collected 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Two nights later, the 5-foot-9 guard added 16 points, eight rebounds, two assists and four more steals in the Badgers’ 67-48 win over Utah State-Eastern.
On the season, Hansen leads the Snow roster in points and rebounds per game, averaging 12.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest.
The Lady Badgers will next play host to Southern Idaho on Thursday, Jan. 19. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. (MT).
