SALINA, Utah (AP)-Kenyon Birdwell posted 15 points and 10 rebounds as the Grand Red Devils outlasted a late North Sevier surge to prevail 67-63 Friday in Region 15 boys basketball action. Brooks Mickelsen had 20 points in the loss for the Wolves.
The 4th Quarter was exciting, as it saw 47 net points between the Wolves and Red Devils while Anders Rosquist (9 points) made a 3-pointer to tie it 63-63 for North Sevier with 14 seconds left.
Nevertheless, Masen Ward (12 points) had a clutch four points down the stretch for the Red Devils as Grand improved to 11-5 while North Sevier fell to 4-13.
NEPHI, Utah (AP)-Aaron Clark posted 17 points and Ryker Osborne added 15 more as the Juab Wasps outlasted Canyon View 65-60 in overtime in Region 12 boys basketball action Friday. Brantzen Blackner and Porter Miller had 16 points apiece in the loss for the Falcons.
PRICE, Utah (AP)-Spencer Steadman stepped up with 23 points as the North Sanpete Hawks surged past Carbon 61-46 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball action.
BEAVER, Utah (AP)-Dillon Smith netted 20 points and 11 rebounds as the Beaver Beavers dismantled Delta 49-33 in Region 13 boys basketball action Friday. Dawson Dutson stepped up in defeat with 9 points for the Beavers.
FILLMORE, Utah (AP)-Caden Prisbrey posted 15 points, leading the Enterprise Wolves to a 68-48 rout of Millard Friday in Region 13 boys basketball action. Wyatt Fullmer’s 10 points paced the Eagles in defeat.
MONROE, Utah (AP)-Tyson Chisholm amassed 16 points while the South Sevier Rams routed Kanab 59-33 in Region 13 boys basketball action Friday. Derrik Fox had 9 points in the loss for the Cowboys.
MANTI, Utah (AP)-Koby Butler stepped up with 24 points and the Emery Spartans gashed Manti 68-60 in Region 15 boys basketball action Friday. Matt Nelson led the Templars in defeat with his 16 points.
GUNNISON, Utah (AP)-Jaden Torgerson netted 18 points and the San Juan Broncos hammered Gunnison 66-47 Friday in Region 15 boys basketball action. Drew Hill stepped up with 18 points and Cole Stewart added 17 more in the loss for the Bulldogs.
ESCALANTE, Utah (AP)-Trey Barney posted 25 points and Jace Eyre added 20 more as the Panguitch Bobcats clobbered Escalante 83-46 in Region 20 boys basketball action Friday. Klace Lyman stepped up in defeat with 19 points, including six 3-pointers for the Moquis.
HURRICANE, Utah (AP)-Ethan Guymon amassed 15 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists while the Parowan Rams smacked the Diamond Ranch Diamondbacks 74-45 Friday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Justin Connelly had 12 points in the loss for the Diamondbacks.
TROPIC, Utah (AP)-Austyn Brinkerhoff netted 20 points while Tate Leech added 18 more for the Bryce Valley Mustangs in a 57-43 rout of Piute in Region 20 boys basketball action Friday. Kesler Blood’s 11 points led the Thunderbirds in defeat.
BICKNELL, Utah (AP)-Cooper Williams led the way with 25 points and Zane Taylor added 19 points and 15 rebounds as the Wayne Badgers edged Valley 66-63 Friday in Region 20 boys basketball action. Cobe Reck amassed a game-high 35 points in defeat for the Buffaloes.
