Reports confirmed a handgun was located at the scene and preliminary indication is the cause of Asman’s death was a shotgun to the head. The medical examiner’s autopsy is to be conducted Wednesday. Heber City Police will give further information as it becomes available.

Per Tuesday news, the suspect in the murder of 36-year-old Julie Ann Burns last month was found dead Monday on Hurricane Creek Road in Wallowa State Park near Joseph, Ore.
The suspect’s white Chevrolet pickup was found by a US Service Forest Ranger at 12:45 pm PDT Monday.
The Forest Service Office immediately informed the Wallowa County (Ore.) Sheriff’s Office.
At 1:30 pm PDT, a responding sheriff’s deputy located the deceased body within 100 yards of the vehicle.
The medical examiner’s office will confirm the cause of death and make positive identification of the body.
The victim’s boyfriend fled police after Julie Burns was found July 14 with a gunshot wound at her home in Heber City.
An arrest warrant for 35-year-old Michael Grant Asman was issued after police identified probable cause for first-degree murder.
