Trust Sues To Control FLDS Meetinghouse 

(Colorado City, AZ)  –  United Effort Plan is suing to take control of the Leroy S. Johnson Meetinghouse in Colorado City, Arizona.  UEP is asking a Mohave County Court to give it control, saying it already owns the land and building, but the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a special-use deed.  UEP also owns most of the land in Colorado City and the town across the border in Utah, Hildale.  No word on when a decision on the suit could be made.
