(Provo, UT) – Brigham Young University officials say it’s good news that reports of sexual assaults on campus are up. The school says that’s because students feel more comfortable coming forward and getting help at the school’s Title IX [[ Nine ]]office, according to the Deseret News. The increase in reports comes after the school enacted a temporary amnesty clause from Honor Code violations for students who report assaults. Officials did not disclose the exact number of assaults reported. Â
