The Wasatch County Library is excited to announce we are doing a Librarian Exchange program.
We have been fortunate to partner with the Eastburgh (pronounced East Burrow) Library in Northumberland, England.
Because of this partnership we have decided we would do a culture exchange.
Our own Miss Alice will go to Eastburgh, England at the Blyth Library and trade jobs, cars and homes for 6 weeks.
We are delighted to have Hazel Amadán Morag as our exchange librarian.
She has 8 year of experience working in the Teen Department and loves teen literature. Her favorite book for Teens is “Girl Missing” by English author Sophie McKenzie
We are excited to see what she will bring to the table and what we can share with her.
Come meet Hazel starting April 31, 2022 and introduce yourself and make her feel welcome.
Eastburgh, is a north east England near the Scotland Border. The Eastburgh Library serves around 20,000 people.
We would hope the people of Eastburgh will treat Alice with the same courtesy as we will Hazel.
