AMERICAN FORK, Utah-American Fork-based Domo, a Cloud software company, was forced to cut roughly 10 percent of its workforce because of COVID-19 this week.
This resulted in 90 employees being laid off.
Ironically, Domo’s purpose during the pandemic outbreak had been to build a crisis command center for Utah.
Despite these layoffs, CEO Josh James remains confident that his company can make it through the pandemic.
He also refuted a social media rumor which stated laid-off employees were forced to sign a nondisclosure agreement or gag order so they could receive their severance pay.
Rather, he spent Thursday trying to help these employees find jobs elsewhere, he confirmed.
