MANTI, Utah (AP)-Matt Nelson posted 16 points and Corbin Linam added 15 points and 7 rebounds as the Manti Templars bludgeoned Millard 73-44 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. The Templars, who improved to 5-7, went on a 41-15 run in the second half to win going away while shooting 53.7 percent on the evening. Wyatt Fullmer had 9 points and 5 rebounds in the loss for the Eagles.
KANAB, Utah (AP)-Monte Glover netted 21 points and the Kanab Cowboys gashed El Capitan (Ariz.) 76-44 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday.
BEAVER, Utah (AP)-Kolton Butler posted 15 points and 6 rebounds as the Emery Spartans downed Beaver 36-32 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Dillon Smith had 12 points and 9 boards in the loss for the Beavers.
MONROE, Utah (AP)-Buddy Gardner netted 19 points as the South Sevier Rams shellacked North Sevier 77-40 Wednesday in non-region boys basketball action. Max Asper had 10 points in the loss for the Wolves.
MT. PLEASANT, Utah (AP)-James Nelson posted 22 points and Benjamin DeGraffenreid had 16 more as the Salem Hills Skyhawks pounded North Sanpete 81-61 in non-region boys basketball action Wednesday. Justice Green’s 11 points led the Hawks in defeat.
