OGDEN, Utah-Saturday, Weber State men’s basketball concludes its non-conference portion of the schedule by hosting the Delaware State Hornets of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
The Wildcats come into this one at 5-5, having lost to Utah Valley 75-63 December 15.
Saturday’s tilt at the Dee Events Center is the first time the Wildcats and Hornets have met on the hardwood.
The Wildcats average 81.4 points per game and surrender 74.3 points per contest.
Weber State’s statistical leader is star junior guard Jerrick Harding who is averaging 19.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest.
The Hornets come into Saturday’s game with a record of 3-8 and are coming off a 73-71 win over in-state rival Delaware
Delaware State is paced by senior guard Kevin Larkin, who averages 15.6 points and 9 rebounds per game for the Hornets.
