SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Will Harris netted 25 points and the Wasatch Wasps waxed Springville 61-51 Friday in Region 8 boys basketball action. Paul Terry had 18 points for the Red Devils in defeat. The win improved the Wasps to 10-8 and 3-1 in Region 8 play. The Wasps are next in action Tuesday against Timpanogos in Region 8 play at the Nest.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah-Tori Dorius stepped up with 8 points and 9 rebounds and the Wasatch Wasps humbled Springville 47-40 in Region 8 girls basketball action Friday. Saige Porray had 12 points for the Red Devils in the loss. The win improved the Wasps to 14-5 and 5-1 in Region 8 play, keeping them atop the standings. Their season continues Tuesday as they host Timpanogos at 5:15 pm at the Nest.
