UVU Men’s Basketball Visits Seattle U. Tuesday



SEATTLE-Tuesday, Utah Valley men’s basketball (19-8, 8-4 in WAC play) visits Seattle U. (15-12, 3-9 in WAC play) to ensue in their WAC season.

In a 79-67 win over UMKC Saturday, Wolvines redshirt junior center Baylee Steele posted 15 points and 12 rebounds.

A win against the Redhawks Tuesday gives the Wolverines successive 20-win seasons.

Presently, the Wolverines have had only five 20-win seasons as a Division I school.

Redshirt junior guard Jake Toolson (16.4 points per game) leads the Wolverines while senior guard Conner Toolson (12.6 points per contest) also averages double figures.

The Wolverines score 77.9 points per game and surrender 71.1 points per contest.

The Redhawks score 73.9 points per game and surrender 68.6 points per game.

Seattle U. is led by redshirt junior forward Myles Carter (14 points, 8 rebounds per game) and junior guard Morgan Means (13.4 points, 4.6 rebounds per game). Redshirt sophomore guard Terrell Brown (13.3 points, 6.7 rebounds per game) is also effective for the Redhawks.

The Wolverines and Redhawks are tied 9-9 all-time. The Wolverines seek their first win at Seattle since 2015.
