SALT LAKE CITY-Wednesday, Utah women’s soccer released its 2018 schedule, which is less than two months away.
The Utes have set themselves up with a challenging slate as the schedule consists of 7 NCAA Tournament teams from 2017, with three of those matches at Ute Field.
Head coach Rich Manning calls it “an action-packed schedule.”
The Utes will have an exhibition match August 12 at Ute Field against the Big Sky Conference’s Idaho Vandals. On August 17, the regular season commences as the Utes host the Minnesota Golden Gophers from the Big Ten Conference.
The match against Minnesota is a Pac-12 Network broadcast, while four other matches for the Utes will be live-stream on utahutes.com.
The Pac-12 schedule commences September 21 at Oregon while October 28 will be senior day as the Utes host USC.
The regular season concludes November 2 at Colorado against the Buffaloes.
The first weekend of the NCAA Tournament is slated for November 9-11 and the Utes have had recent success in the tournament.
In 2016, they defeated Texas Tech and advanced to the Sweet 16.
