Utah Football Enters Final Week of Fall Camp

SALT LAKE CITY-Monday, the Utah Utes’ football team commences its final week of “Camp Kyle,” capped off with a scrimmage this upcoming Saturday. Classes and regular practices will commence Monday August 20.

All of these practices and scrimmages are closed to the public.

Saturday, Utes fans are invited to the 18th annual Red Zone Fan Fest at Rice-Eccles Stadium from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

This consists of all 20 intercollegiate teams at the University of Utah.

Parking and admission are free, while the new clear bag policy enforced by the university will be in effect at the entry gates.

The Utah athletics department has also commenced production on a new monthly podcast. Director of athletics Mark Harlan, on the “Hear it From Harlan” podcast, will discuss items of interest within the Utah athletic department as well as general trending topics in collegiate athletics.

Additionally, Utah sophomore linebacker Moroni Anae will miss the 2018 season with an injury.

Walk-on graduate transfer, defensive back Anthony Armstrong, has been added to the Utes’ Camp 110 roster.

Armstrong comes to the Utes from BYU’s program.
